Jackson, New Hampshire Wedding
I have known Meg & Colby for years from my days of skiing and snowboarding at Loon Mountain in Lincoln, New Hampshire. When they asked me to photograph their wedding, I knew I was going to be in for an experience. I couldn't have picked a more perfect place for them to get married then the rustic Inn at Whitney's Farm in Jackson, New Hampshire, right at the base of a little family mountain, Black Mountain Ski Resort.
Getting married? Feel free to reach out to me to chat about your big day! Meg started her morning off at the Debony Salon nearby, also in the town of Jackson while we snapped some shots of Colby getting ready in the rustic cabins on the property. Meg arrived at a neighboring cabin where we took all the getting ready shots. Take a look at her gorgeous ring designed to look like a snowflake! It might be my favorite ring I've seen since I share the same passion for winter as they do.
The ceremony took place across the street on a site where a building once stood, but all that remains is an ornate chimney. It fit in perfectly among the trees, which provided the guests cover from the drizzling rain. The curtness of the flower girls was accented by the flowers, provided by Clementina Floral Co.
Following the ceremony we headed to the covered bridge in Jackson for a few portraits. Being deep in the White Mountains, there are natural wonders all over the place, like Jackson Falls, where we got a few more beautiful portraits. On our way back to the venue we stopped in a lush green field sprinkled with yellow dandelions that seemed to be plucked out of the Sound of Music.
We returned to the venue to continue the celebration at the Shovel Handle Pub, which is right on the property. The party continued late into the night concluding with a cozy fire in front of one of the cabins.
Everything about the day just flowed seamlessly thanks to all the amazing staff at the Inn. Congratulations to Meg & Colby on the most picture perfect rustic wedding day imaginable! See you guys on the slopes!
