Granite Ridge Estate & Barn Wedding Norway, Maine | Amelia & Jason

Maine Barn Wedding

There are few venues that have it all, and Granite Ridge Estate & Barn is certainly one of those venues. I'm a sucker for mountain views, especially when they're accompanied by a couple like Amelia & Jason! This is a venue which takes full advantage of the panoramic views in ever direction so the guest can appreciate the natural beauty of one of my favorite parts of Maine. With all the amenities on site, it's easy to see why Amelia and Jason chose this beautiful venue for their celebration. Keep scrolling to see how the whole day unfolded, especially the sunset portraits!

Amelia and all the ladies got ready right on the property in house with incredible views for everyone to take in. There was more than enough room for everyone to hang out and relax before the momentum of the day picked up. The room was filled with light thanks to large windows, which gave the hair and makeup artists and plenty to work with.

The guys got ready at an Airbnb nearby overlooking Lake Pennesseewassee. It was a perfect spot for the guys to hang, relax and enjoy the fresh Maine air. They jumped on an elegant bus and headed over to the wedding venue.

The ceremony was just perfect! Every detail was just right with the help of Broadturn Farm who handled all the floral arrangements. The site was down a winding path away from the barn where the guest are greeted to an adorable clearing surrounded by towering trees, which really gave the Maine deep woods vibe. The emotions of the ceremony didn't leave a dry eye in the house! It was amazing to capture such love!

Following the ceremony we walked down a path behind the house where Amelia got ready to another iconic spot of the property. The view was spectacular, to say the least!

The wedding party got to relax a bit in the house before the party got on the way in the barn. The ultimate highlight of the venue is the barn with gigantic windows for everyone to appreciate the beauty of Western Maine.

The sunset portrait shoot was something I was most looking forward to so we could take advantage of the endless views, and the sunset delivered! Their adorable dog, Chase, joined in on the fun, as well.

The food was out of this world! Fire & Company out of Portland, Maine provided the catering, which featured lobster rolls, brisket and pizza made in a wood fired oven that they bring to the party. The delicious desserts were provided by The Winey Baker, featuring whoopie pies (invented in Maine), fresh macarons, and a cake that was almost too beautiful to eat. Don't worry, we ate that cake right up!

The DJ was a family friend of theirs who kept the party going late into the night.

Overall, I'm blown away by Granite Ridge Estate & Barn! They really know how to capture the true essence of Maine that guests from all over can appreciate. I hope to be back there for another wedding sometime soon! Congratulations to Jason and Amelia on a beautiful wedding with amazing people! It was such an honor to be there to capture your day!
