Ipswich Country Club Wedding | Alin & Dillon

Ipswich, Massachusetts Wedding

The Ipswich Country Club is an ideal destination for a North Shore wedding, and I was delighted when Alin & Dillon asked me to be there to photograph their day at a venue down the street from where I grew up in Topsfield, Massachusetts.

It's always great to witness two cultures melting together on wedding days, which is why their wedding day was so memorable with Alin's Syrian roots standing out throughout the whole evening.

Alin and her bridesmaids got ready in a well-lit room on the 2nd floor of the country club. The dance party was nonstop until it was time for her first look with her father!

Her father's reaction was priceless! It was such a great moment to capture, followed by Alin gifting him a priceless picture.

Next was Alin's first look with Dillon, which we staged overlooking the endless rolling hills of the golf course. They exchanged vows in private instead of in front of everyone at the ceremony.

They chose to only have their closest friends and family present for the ceremony, which was brief and simply stunning. There were looming storm clouds on the horizon, but the rain held off just long enough for us to get through the family photos.

We got a few portrait shots in during the first look, then had to do the rest after a brief pause in the rain. The country club is so well manicured that it looked surreal. The setting sun after the storm provided a beautiful sunset. I couldn't get enough of these two and the sights of the country club!

The party is where Alin's Syrian roots stood out! After the first dances and speeches, the guests were wowed by the hypnotic dancing of Elizabeth Estrella. Following the dancing, Rami Kanj took the mic to initiate the dancing Middle Easterners are famous for. I've been fortunate enough to photograph a few Middle Eastern weddings, and one thing they all have in common is that they're energetic and LOUD! The guest got to enjoy some cigars on the deck where I got to capture some classy shots. Jimmie Espo's top-tier djing took us to the end of the night.

Thank you Alin & Dillon for having me there to capture your day! Congratulations on an incredible multicultural wedding that none of your guests will forget!
