Commander's Mansion Wedding
There are only a handful of venues that I've been to directly next to Boston that truly have it all in terms of wedding photography, and the Commander's in Watertown, Massachusetts is one of those venues. It's close proximity to Boston make it much easier for guests who are flying in for weddings, since they don't have to travel an hour or more out of the city to experience the lush greenery of New England, and get the perfect mansion vibe that only the Northeast can deliver.

Laura & Corey were greeted with a picture perfect Massachusetts June wedding day! Laura got ready at a hotel near by, then left for the Commander's Mansion to finish getting ready in the gorgeous bridal suite.
Corey also got ready at a hotel near by, then hung out at the Commander's Mansion with his groomsmen and my second shooter, Alissa of Holy Smoke Photograph, while the ladies finished getting ready.
Their first look took place right next to the mansion in the shaded field, which always makes for a perfect portrait spot, as well.
The ceremony site was simply stunning! The staff really know how to make the Grape Arbor look incredible. Each photo oozed emotion! The elegance of the atmosphere was truly enhanced by the addition of a violinist, violist, and a cellist, Tania Mesa, Anna Stromer and Emanual Keller. Can't recommend adding a trio like that take your wedding to the next level! You can truly feel the love Laura and Corey have for each other. I'd be lying if I said I didn't shed a few tears myself! Their bubble filled exit was something out of a storybook!
During cocktail hour Alissa & I got to steal them away from the crowd for a sunset portrait shoot around the mansion. The Commander's Mansion is truly a photographer's dream, as are these two! Each shot was better than the last! I absolutely love her shoes.
Once the party started, it didn't stop thanks to C-Zone Entertainment and their wild friends and family! Laura surprised Corey with a Liverpool Football Club cake, obviously Corey's favorite team, which was so fun to capture. Every single detail of their day was perfectly laid out thanks to all the amazing staff who made their dream day a reality. Congratulations to Laura & Corey! It was such a pleasure to be there to capture your day!
